iPad Pro, iPhone 8, and iPhone 9 (!) Rumors, Apple's New Switcher Campaign, iOS 11 Wishlists - MacRumors

Chances are looking better and better for an introduction of Apple's rumored 10.5-inch iPad Pro at WWDC in just a week and a half, with Apple said to be increasing production of the device ahead of a launch. We're starting to see cases for the new device, as well as for an updated 12.9-inch iPad Pro model. We're also seeing detailed renderings and models based on the reported specs, giving us a good idea of what this new size of iPad will look like.

Alleged Molds Purport to Show Relative Sizes of Apple's 2017 iPhones
We're continuing to get better looks at the so-called "iPhone 8," and this week we saw some alleged casing molds that show a size comparison among the iPhone 8 and more traditional "iPhone 7s" and "iPhone 7s Plus" models. If accurate, the iPhone 8 would be slightly larger than the current iPhone 7 and its iPhone 7s successor.

Beyond the molds, we're also seeing dummy units and clones that are giving us a decent idea of what we might see in the fall when the iPhone 8 debuts. We've also seen an iPhone 8 case compared to the current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. We're still waiting on actual part leaks, however, and once those start coming in we should have a better idea of how the new iPhone 8 will come together.

Apple Debuts Revamped 'Switch' Site to Lure Android Users to iPhone
Apple this week debuted a new web page and short videos aimed at getting Android users to switch to iPhone. Based around the tagline "Life is easier on an iPhone," the new page and videos highlight how easy it is to move to iOS, camera quality on the iPhone, ease of use, Apple's commitment to privacy, support, and more. Apple has long touted high rates of switchers in its quarterly earnings calls as evidence of the appeal of its platform.

'iPhone 9' Rumored to Come in 5.28-Inch and 6.46-Inch Display Sizes in 2018
It sounds crazy considering we're still months away from the introduction of the iPhone 8, but we're already hearing our first rumors about next year's "iPhone 9." While we don't have a lot of confidence in this rumor yet, it's a tantalizing one claiming Apple is looking to introduce two sizes of OLED displays on next year's models, coming in at 5.28 and 6.46 inches. The sizes suggest we could see something similar to the current iPhone 7 and 7 Plus device sizes but with larger full-front screens.

Scrolling Changes Coming to Mobile Safari in Future Update
Scrolling in Safari in iOS has long been a bit different than in other places within the system, and it looks like that's going to change in an upcoming version of the built-in browser. The change will mean a faster and smoother scrolling experience in Safari and will undoubtedly take some getting used to, but if you're familiar with how scrolling feels when browsing pages loaded through Google's Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) format then you'll know what to expect throughout Safari once this change goes into effect.
