iPhone XR 2 Color Leaks 👀 + iOS 12.3 With New TV App! — MacRumors

Apple publicly released iOS 12.3 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch this week with a revamped TV app, including a new "Channels" feature that lets users subscribe to and watch networks like HBO, Showtime, and Starz on an à-la-carte basis without having to open another app.

The new and improved Apple TV app is available in over 100 countries across the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV running the just-released tvOS 12.3 update, and select Samsung smart TVs. Watch our new hands-on video of the Apple TV app and AirPlay 2 on a Samsung TV.

Apple also released watchOS 5.2.1 with ECG support expanded to additional European countries, macOS 10.14.5 with AirPlay 2 support on the Mac, and a minor HomePod software update.

Here Are the Green and Lavender Colors Rumored for 2019's iPhone XR
default.jpg Rumors suggest the 2019 version of the iPhone XR will be available in new Green and Lavender colors alongside White, Black, Yellow, and (PRODUCT)RED. Blue and Coral would be discontinued.

Here's what the new iPhone XR colors may look like based off leaked shards of glass.

Another leak suggests that all three 2019 models will feature a large square camera bump. The design might not end up being as polarizing as seen in renders, however, as rumors indicate that Apple will apply a special black coating on some lenses that could result in a more subdued appearance.

Supreme Court Allows App Store Monopoly Lawsuit Against Apple to Proceed
default.jpgIn a 5-4 ruling this week, the U.S. Supreme Court decided that a class action lawsuit regarding Apple's alleged App Store monopoly can proceed.

The lawsuit was filed in 2011 by a group of iPhone users who believe Apple violates antitrust laws by requiring apps to be sold in the App Store,. Essentially, the argument is that Apple's 30% commission leads to inflated prices as developers pass on the extra cost to consumers. 

Importantly, the Supreme Court did not rule that the App Store is anticompetitive, but merely allowed the case to proceed.
