iPhone 6 Part Leaks, New iPads Coming, Sam Sung Auctions His Apple Business Card - MacRumors

With it all but confirmed Apple will be introducing the iPhone 6 at a media event on September 9, leaks and rumors about the device continue to surface. One of the most interesting photo sets of the past week revealed a supposedly finished iPhone 6 rear shell that includes recessed volume buttons and an embedded Apple logo that appears to be made of a "very extraordinary" scratch-resistant metal.

Other recent leaks have included the front panel with display, the rear shell with protruding camera ring, and other minor parts including a new round "True Tone" camera flash. Rumors have also included word of a larger battery than previously reported, as well as a detailed yet sketchy report outlining features such as 802.11ac Wi-Fi, near field communications (NFC), and improved Touch ID, but no sapphire display cover.

Apple Suppliers Gearing Up to Produce New iPads, Larger Model to Feature Anti-Reflective Coating
While much of the focus has been on iPhone 6 rumors, Apple is also expected to introduce new iPads before the end of the year. Unsurprisingly, Bloomberg reports production on the new iPad Air is already underway, with the new Retina iPad mini set to follow shortly. The report claims Apple is planning to use a new anti-reflective display coating on the iPad Air, which may result in  tight supplies as the kinks are worked out of that process. Otherwise, Touch ID is expected to be a major addition to the new iPads, and we may also see a few minor design tweaks.
