Thanksgiving is a bit early this year in the U.S., so that means an early start to the holiday shopping season with Black Friday deals. Some deals are already underway, while others won't start until later today or tomorrow, so check out our Black Friday roundup and our overview article to make sure you don't miss out on the best prices for holiday gifts.

Even Apple is getting more into the act this year, expanding its traditional Black Friday offers to cover four days. The event won't go live until the clock ticks over to Black Friday, but it's already live in Australia and New Zealand so we know Apple is offering gift cards with the purchase of many its products. Unfortunately, the just-launched iPhone, iPad, and Mac models are excluded.

We'll keep updating our roundup as new deals are announced, and we'll also be posting details on some of the biggest sales in separate articles, so keep a close eye on MacRumors.com over the next few days as deals will extend until Cyber Monday and beyond!

New iPad Pro Models May Be Prone to Bending
default.jpg You knew it was coming. Almost as soon as people got their hands on the new iPad Pro, they were inevitably going to try bending it. And yes, it does bend, as does just about every other tablet, particularly ones pushing the boundaries of thinness like the iPad Pro. Moral of the story: Take care of your very expensive gadgets.

In other iPad Pro news, Apple this week released a new ad offering "5 reasons iPad Pro can be your next computer." The new iPad Pro is certainly a beast when it comes to raw performance, and Apple is definitely pushing hard on the narrative that it's a capable computer replacement at this point.

Similar dongles from Google and Amazon cost $25 to $35, although Apple's version likely won't be quite that cheap.

Apple Reportedly Cuts iPhone XS and iPhone XR Production Orders Amid Lower-Than-Expected Demand
default.jpg It's always a good idea to take reports like this with a huge grain of salt, but The Wall Street Journal claims Apple is slashing production of the iPhone XS and iPhone XR due to lower than expected demand. It's a refrain we hear every year, but investors already nervous from Apple's announcement that it will no longer report unit sales in its quarterly earnings reports have run for the exits, and Apple's stock price has dropped over 20 percent so far this month.

Reports also indicate Apple may be working to reduce the price of the iPhone XR in Japan via carrier subsidies.
