Amazon is offering the base model 2019 MacBook Air for just $799. That's a $300 savings over Apple's regular price of $1,099, and the lowest price we've ever seen for the notebook since its July 2019 release.

Apple's Black Friday Event Offers Up to $200 Gift Card With Purchase of Select Products
default.jpg Apple's annual four-day shopping event from Black Friday through Cyber Monday will offer up to a $200 Apple Store gift card with the purchase of select iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, regular AirPods, and Beats headphones.

The offer does not apply to the new 16-inch MacBook Pro, AirPods Pro, iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro models, or Apple Watch Series 5 models, while the Mac mini, iPod touch, old Mac Pro, refurbished products, products purchased with an educational discount, and carrier-locked iPhones are also ineligible.

iPhone 12 Pro Models Will Likely Have 6GB RAM, iPhone SE 2 Production Expected to Begin February
default.jpg Following a recent trip to Asia and discussions with Chinese suppliers, Barclays analysts have predicted that the so-called iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will each sport 6GB of RAM, up from 4GB.

The base model iPhone 12 is expected to stick with 4GB of RAM like the iPhone 11.

The analysts also expect iPhone SE 2 production to begin in February. The lower-cost device is rumored to be similar to the iPhone 8, including a 4.7-inch display and Touch ID, but with a faster A13 chip and 3GB of RAM. The device is expected to launch around March with pricing starting around $399.

Apple Expected to Release 5.4-Inch and 6.7-Inch iPhones With Thinner Displays in 2020
default.jpgIn addition to a rumored 6GB of RAM, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will reportedly have new 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch display sizes, respectively.

The displays are expected to use a Samsung technology called Y-OCTA that allows touchscreen circuitry to be directly patterned on the OLED panel without the need for a separate layer, resulting in a thinner display and possibly even lower production costs for Apple.

2020 is expected to be a big year for the iPhone, with rumors pointing to two new display sizes, a redesigned metal frame similar to the iPhone 4rear-facing 3D sensing5G support, and much more.
